Symptoms/Exposure Protocol for COVID19

For purposes of scheduling orthodontic patient appointments at the offices of

Dr. Jon A. Moles

 

Definition:

Our policy has been determined based upon data compiled from all the major health organizations and as a private practice have determined that the below protocol is sufficient for our purposes.

An orthodontic appointment will be scheduled for at least 14 days after a known exposure. If the patient remains symptom free and has self-quarantined for the recommended 14 day period, the appointment will be maintained. If at any time within the allotted 14 day period the patient begins displaying symptoms, please call our office to reschedule the appointment for 14 days after the patients symptoms subside.

Reporting a known exposure can potentially save lives. Thank you for your cooperation on this matter.

As a commissioned officer in the United States Navy, he furthered his dental education by completing an orthodontic residency at Fort George G. Meade. Despite retiring after over two decades of serving the oral health needs of sailors, marines, and their families around the world, he continues to lecture and consult the Naval Postgraduate Dental School in Bethesda, Maryland.
