If you have a unique financial situation that require alternative payment arrangements, please speak to us so we can work out a payment option that works for you.

Insurance

Because insurance policies vary, we can only provide you with an estimate of your coverage and cannot guarantee coverage due to the complexities of insurance policies. To assist us in helping you file your insurance claims, we ask that you answer all the insurance questions on our questionnaire and bring your insurance card with you.

It is very important that you understand your insurance benefits. When we help you schedule your initial consultation, our staff will gather all the necessary information needed to make a predetermination of your insurance benefits.

Helpful Info About Insurance

Typically, dental insurance is classified into two types: PPO and HMO/DMO. If your insurance is HMO or DMO and you have orthodontic coverage, you must receive treatment from an in-network provider in order to receive benefits. If you do not have orthodontic coverage on your plan, you are free to see any provider.

PPO gives you the freedom to choose any provider. Our office accepts the assignment of benefits for all PPO insurances including but not limited to:

  • Aetna
  • Metlife
  • United Healthcare
  • Guardian
  • GEHA
  • Delta Dental Preferred
  • Premier PPO
  • United PPO

As a courtesy to you, we will bill most PPO insurances and apply your benefits directly to your account. It is important to know that not all plans have orthodontic coverage and that some PPO plans will not make payment directly to the provider, but rather directly to the patient.

If you have a flexible spending account (FSA) or health saving account (HSA), you may be able to use your funds to help pay for your orthodontic treatment.

* If at any time your insurance benefits change, the financially responsible party is accountable for all charges incurred.
